MAC Beauty Balm for Summer Beautification
The sun is starting to come out and you may be wondering, what makeup should I wear to combat the upcoming summer heat?
Let me show you a product that allows you to create a flawless complexion without weighing it down with pounds of heavy makeup.
It’s called a Beauty Balm or BB Cream.
I love MAC’s Prep + Prime BB Beauty Balm SP35 because it’s an all-in-one product that combines the elements of your:
- Moisturizer
- Primer
- Foundation
- Sunscreen
This means that your skin will appear smoother, more hydrated, evenly toned, and be protected from the sun’s harmful rays.
All you need is a tiny little pea-sized amount, then dab it evenly all over your face.
I usually dot the product on my forehead, the tip of my nose, each of my cheeks, and my chin. Then, I take a brush and blend it all out.
You could use a typical foundation brush but MAC’s 187 Duo Fiber Face Brush does the job perfectly because it gives you a soft airbrushed finish while wasting a minimal amount of product due to the non-porous synthetic white hairs.
After blending the product out I dust my face off with light outward strokes using MAC’s Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder because it’s lightweight, easy to use, and smoothes out fine lines and pores.
Next, I give my cheek bones a little bit of definition along with that healthy sun-kissed look by sweeping them with a bit of MAC’s Refined Golden Bronzing Powder. Using circular motions, dust a “C” shape starting at the lower portion of the apple of your cheek and take it upward, outside your eyebrow and to your temples finishing at the upper-center of your forehead.
Lastly, I spray my face with MAC’s Fix+ vitamin and mineral spray to refresh the skin, meld all the products together and set the makeup.
So tell me, what do you think of MAC’s Beauty Balm?
